PRINCE CASPIAN

So far, this morning blows! I had to drop my car off at the shop because it started leaking water in the middle of a tremendous storm yesterday. Unfortunately, their water specialist will not be in until tomorrow so I am car-less. Luckily, I live with someone who graciously agrees to be my chauffeur when these things happen. But, all this made me really late for work. Then, when I get my computer turned on, the mouse & keyboard are just not working. There’s something wrong with the hub connector so I am stuck with a corded mouse and keyboard that are from the dark ages. I just had to get a new keyboard because the first one I had stopped typing w & s all of the sudden. I swear, if Helen hadn’t just dropped me off, I’d be on my way home by now! You know how some days it’s just not worth getting out of bed?
On a good note, I am still flying high from seeing Prince Caspian last night. This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Truly. It’s better than The Lord of the Rings and that is truly high praise from me. It stayed completely true to the book, which is important to me. And I grew up with these characters – I’ve read the Narnia Chronicles too many times to count! The greatest compliment I can give it is that I didn’t once start to fall asleep, which, after a full day of work, and in a comfortable chair, I tend to do immediately. I am ready to go back and see it again tonight. In NJ? Want to see a movie? Just let me know and I’m there!

Awesome flick. Too bad gremlins got to your computer. You know she sabotaged you because you were late.

Ugh, I know all about car issues. Unfortunately. There are many good things about being home with my family, one of them being MOVIES. I get to go see movies. With my brother, and my best friend, and my parents…I miss movies on big screens. My tv is nice…but not at all the same. 🙂
