Here are some houses from around Beach Haven, where we spend weekends from May to November, and sometimes beyond. These are all on Coral Street and are, for the most part, bed and breakfast joints. They are all also on the historical register of being at least 100 years old.
Below is the Catherine Drinker Bowen (she wrote Caddie Woodlawn) house.

There is something about chimneys – thoughts of roaring fires springs to mind. All our houses have fireplaces, although we almost never use them for said fires. But they’re a grand place to store stacks of books:)
